According to the function, tiles have two main factors: hardness and surface. Floor tiles designed with durability can withstand the pressures of people walking, the weight of furniture as well as other heavy objects. The tiles used for floor lining have greater stiffness, better bearing capacity, often with a high specific gravity (tight material compression). The surface will often be resistant to slip and scratch, high abrasion resistance. Index R is an international index of slip resistance of tiles, calculated from R9 - R13. The higher the index, the greater the anti-slip level, which is calculated by measuring the slope of the tile surface that humans can move normally (non-slip) on that tile surface. Ceramic and porcelain tiles are designed with different durability and anti-slip properties. Anti-slip index R is calculated from R9 to R13. R9 or larger anti-slip floor tiles are suitable for wet areas or mobility areas. Please note that although surfaces are used for tiles with high anti-slip properties, we must be careful when applying in these areas.
